   This Kyoto Mint Green Tea from Yogi Tea is a lovely and fragrant green tea refreshment. It’s an all natural green tea made from organic green tea leaf, organic spearmint leaf, organic peppermint leaf, organic lemon grass, and organic lemon myrtle. Kyoto Mint Green Tea contains approximately 43 mg of caffeine per tea bag, which is just less than half of what is normally found in an 8 oz cup of coffee. The taste is more green tea than mint—the mint is not overwhelming, but subtle.

   I am definitely impressed with this tea and with Yogi Teas in general. Kyoto Mint Green Tea comes with an expiration date (a good thing, because it’s not full of preservatives, plus you can tell if it is fresh). Yogi Tea seems to be another company (like Numi, Aspen, Traditional Medicinals) that values sustainable and healthy practices. Their web site has a helpful glossary of tea ingredients and is beautifully designed, with info about each tea they make.

   This particular review is for the bulk pack of six boxes, which is a truly excellent value. Once you know you’ll like Kyoto Mint Green Tea, this is the way to go.

   This tea has a lovely mint flavor that does not overpower the green tea. This is a tea you can drink day after day and not get tired of the taste.
